NVE ASR002-10E

The ASR002-10E smart TMR angle sensor from NVE is designed to provide a precise digital angle measurements over a wide range of speeds utilising the low power Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensing elements combined with sophisticated digital signal processing. This sensor features a robust operating range of 60 Oe to 200 Oe and sensitivity of 3 to 4.2mV/V-Oe. The ASR002-10E is able to measure rotational speeds of up to 375,000rpm and is compatible with 3V and 5V four-wire SPI interfaces to provide angle data and allow setting device parameters. This sensors comes in ultraminiature TDFN6 package (only 2.5x2.5x0.8mm) and is fully factory calibrated.

  • Smart TMR non-contact angle sensor
  • Measures rotational speeds up to 375000rpm
  • Operating range of 60 Oe to 200 Oe
  • 0.1° resolution
  • ±0.2° repeatability
  • Operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C
  • Sample rate of 12.5kSps
  • Supply range between 2.2V and 3.6V
  • Low typical supply current at 4mA
  • Ultraminiature TDFN6 package

ASR002 sensors use unique TMR sensor elements that are inherently high speed and low noise. The digital core calculates the angle from sensor element Sine and Cosine vectors, and the raw sensor data are available from separate memory locations. The sensor output utilises a 12-bit ADC with the extra bits ensuring precision and computational accuracy. Digital filter is available for ultralow noise in high-frequency operations (this option is turned-off as default).

NVE SM124-10E

The SM124-10E smart magnetometer from NVE is designed to provide precise magnetic field measurements, detecting magnets even over 50mm away. It utilises Giant Magnetoresonance (GMR) technology, which is superior compared to the traditional Hall effect devices in terms of sensitivity (0-10 Oe / 0-1 mT linear range), precision (5% accuracy), speed (1kSps sample rate) and noise levels. This magnetometer is a digital device with minimal firmware requirements - it features programmable thresholds, offset and other values and magnetic field and calibration data from I2C interface with the calibration coefficients stored in a non-volatile memory. The SM124-10E comes factory calibrated to high accuracy and is available in ultraminiature TDFN6 package (2.5x2.5mm footprint).

  • Smart GMR Magnetometer
  • High sensitivity of 0-10 Oe / 0-1 mT linear range
  • 8bit / 1% output resolution
  • Accuracy of 5% of the full scale
  • 10kSps sample rate for fast response
  • Operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C
  • 2.2V to 3.6V supply

NVE SM324-10E

The SM324-10E smart magnetometer from NVE is designed to provide ultra-precise magnetic field measurements, while detecting magnets even over 50mm away. It utilises Tunneling Magnetoresonance (TMR) technology, which is superior compared to the traditional Hall effect devices in terms of in-plane sensitivity, precision (±0.3% accuracy), speed (300 samples per second) and noise levels. The I2C interface works as data as well as programming interface; the progrrammable values include magnetic thresholds, sensor offset, temperature values, user defined memory and other values. The digital signal also allows for application-specific calibration; the calibration coefficient are stored in internal non-volatile memory. The SM124-10E is capable of withstanding harsh environments, including those in automotive applications, due to their robust ESD protection, and is available in ultraminiature TDFN6 package (2.5x2.5mm footprint).

  • Smart TMR Magnetometer
  • Magnetic field perating range of 0 to ±20 Oe
  • 24bit output resolution
  • Accuracy as low as ±0.3% at 25° (±1% across the temperature range)
  • Sample rate of 300 samples per second
  • Operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C
  • 1.68V to 3.6V supply
